This scripture describes almost the entire body of Jesus Christ – “I’m church of God” – “I’m Southern Baptist”- “I’m Freewill Baptist” – “I’m Orthodox” – “I’m Catholic” – on and on – whatever…
THIS is why the majority of Christians do not see the days we are in. They are CARNAL
How many of our brethren are preparing their homes to receive strangers? To receive a couple of displaced, homeless children – to receive someone who hasn’t eaten anything in a while because there’s no food? How many are preparing their hearts to be in a place that is prepared to deal with such things? How many are prepared to STAND as the days get darker ?
Most are looking to return to normal. “Normal”- will never – ever happen. Their minds are only concerned and consumed with what the world says and does.
How can I say that?
The churches closed their doors and /or made concessions to change their ways because THE WORLD instructed them to do so. Now – many churches are leading and learning and fashioning their ways, to lead their people to take the “mark”. If you can’t see this happening before our very eyes – you are – my friend – BLIND.
I am amazed. But I’m sadly, not surprised.
The leaders have refused to see and hear for so long – because they are all carnally minded. And they also fulfill scripture, when they answer to our warnings- saying: “we’re not there yet…”
“Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” ( 2nd Peter 3 )
Even while the church generally fails their calling – (a falling away) – there will be a remnant of “double-portion Elishas” appearing on the earth. God has been preparing these within the body of Christ Jesus – irregardless of the overall failure of the body of Christ to stop drinking milk. These “Elishas” will provide the oil of the Spirit to the lamps that remain standing – in the world.
But our hope is not even in them. Our hope is coming on the clouds! With a multitude of heavenly hosts! And he who stands to the end SHALL BE SAVED!
