Revelation 18: After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice,
“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
She has become a dwelling place for demons,
a haunt for every unclean spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.
3 For all nations have drunk[a]
the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality,
and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,
and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.”
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
“Come out of her, my people,
lest you take part in her sins,
lest you share in her plagues;
5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities.
“Come out of he MY PEOPLE”
I have seen questions from believers asking “How will we be able to be safe from deception – when the antichrist is going to be able to perform so many miracles?” – “How will we be able to tell if he is actually God or not?”
In my opinion, it will be very easy to know whether or not one who claims to be messiah is or is-not — REGARDLESS of any amount of miracles performed or anything “messiah-like” presented to the masses. The scriptures plainly tell us so. “This same Jesus will return in like manner” is stated by the angels of God in Acts 1:6-11
6 So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. 10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
If we know what the scriptures say regarding Jesus’ return – you will know that there is absolutely no concern of being fooled. (paraphrasing) “Just as lightning flashes from east to west – so it shall be when the Son of Man returns” — if anyone tells you, “He is there in the desert – or here… ” do not believe them. (this can be found in Matthew 24)
His return will be heralded by a MULTITUDE of heavenly hosts (angels) in the sky. It will not be a “quiet- hardly noticed” return! (This can be found in Revelation 1) — and we are told that when He appears that we will be changed – in the twinkling of an eye – and we shall rise to meet Him in the air – and we shall see Him as He truly is – and we shall be LIKE HIM (this can be found in 1st Corinthian 15 – around verse 50)
These and others like this – make it easy peasy to know whether it is HIM or not! What may not be easy is withstanding the trials of the great tribulation.
Another thing to give VERY SERIOUS CONSIDERATION to -- and be forewarned, this is likely going to offend many - so PLEASE - just consider what I write here and please don't allow the offense to blind you. The next few statements are not an attack on people's character or their intelligence - but we all need to give serious consideration to certain things that have been taught in our churches for years - that are going to have serious, implications in these last days.
One of the ways the scriptures describe those “who are His” – is a statement: “those who love His appearing…” (2nd Timothy 4) — When the last trump/trumpet (not to get into an Mandela Effect argument) – When that event occurs and the sign of the Son of Man appears in the sky. The world will mourn and cry out “rocks hide us from the brightness of His appearing..” (stuff like that) — so – PLEASE – give consideration to this:
Does the world celebrate christmas and easter? This isn’t a “trick question”. All one has to do is watch TV around either holiday event.

It’s obvious that THE WORLD CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS AND EASTER. But we are told in the sriptures that “the world” will not love Jesus’ return. And it is obvious that most do not care to hear about the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So does anyone other than me see a blaring disconnect here????
The world celebrates christmas and easter – yet certainly does not love Jesus christ of Nazareth. So it is safe to assume that neither holiday event has any connection to Jesus, because the world “luvs it some christmas and easter celebrationin”…
It does not matter what it means to you or I – the holidays and celebrations of this world are in no way connected to Him! And yet so many of us cannot bear the thought of giving those things (OF THIS WORLD) up. Does that cause anyone to pause and compel us to be a bit concerned ? The scriptures say that “friendship with the world is enmity with God.”
I’m not stating this to offend anyone – but to WARN EVERYONE – every year those of us who claim Jesus christ, fall-in-line with an antichrist spirit and celebrate said spirit by participating in worldly celebrations. We continue to make excuses in our hearts and minds and sometimes out loud. And then we think that we will not be deceived when the actual person of antichrist comes on the scene ????? —
I know that what I am suggesting is a “hard thing” for some and maybe even too radical for others — but satan is turning up the heat in this world folks — if we can’t handle the idea of turning away from antichrist based holidays – what makes anyone think they are going to make it in the coming years of great tribulation?
