Sola Scriptura (Latin: by scripture alone) is a theological doctrine held by some Christian denominations that the Christian scriptures are the sole, infallible rule of faith and practice. –
Both Catholics and Protestants believe that all of the religious guidance a Christian needs can be found in the Bible, a concept known as sola scriptura. On the other hand, there are some that say that Christians need guidance from not only the Bible, but also church teachings and traditions, which begs the question: “What defines that a writing is to be considered scripture?“
A well-known and oft-quoted scripture is 2nd Timothy 3:16 —-
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
Some versions of the Bible translate “given by inspiration of God” – as – “God breathed” – meaning: Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Living God – THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, leads men (or women) to write what they have been lead to understand or sometimes “hear” from God Most High – and to be led by that same Spirit to “rightly divide the word of truth”.
How should we look at scripture – and how should we view the Bible? Are the writings contained in our Bible (KJV, NIV, ESV, HCSB or any version thereof) the only writings that we should consider “scripture”?
How many times have those of us of the faith, heard “sola scriptura” – meaning: “In scripture alone do we put our trust.” — We find this stated anytime a preacher or teacher holds up a Bible and proclaims it as the sole-source for Godly truth and the sole-source for knowledge in Godly living. – Whenever 2nd Timothy 2 is quoted – most people are inclined to think that Timothy is being encouraged to “always read his Bible…”
2 Timothy 2:15 King James Version (KJV)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Most never give much thought to the fact that what we call the Bible, did not exist in Timothy’s day. As a matter of fact – the Bible also did not exist when Paul penned 2nd Timothy 3:16 (All scripture is God breathed…) So it is impossible that these scriptural truths could only be referring to what we today call, “The Holy Bible” – a compilation of 66 “books” .
All of the scripture contained in what is today called “The Old Testament” did exist in Paul’s day – so the writings of the Old Testament are most certainly included in the statement “All scripture…” But the Bible also alludes to and quotes from many other books, writings and teachings that most readers of the Bible have never read and possibly never even heard of – even though they are mentioned more than once through the Biblical canon, even by Jesus Himself. We all seem to have “gleaned over” these mentions and many times I have heard Pastors lead us away from such writings by changing the subject or avoiding the subject all-together.
I have taught on this fact for almost a decade.
In Acts 1 we read:
“In the first book, O Theophilus, I have dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach,2 until the day when He was taken up, after He had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen. 3 He presented himself alive to them after His suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the Kingdom of God.
4 And while staying[a] with them He ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, He said, “you heard from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit (*and fire) not many days from now.” (*added by me – because I remember that having been said by Jesus. But it is now no longer there.)
A focus point in this scripture is: “…all that Jesus began to do and teach,2 until the day when He was taken up, after He had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen.“
And then, of course, we find the disciples baptized with the Holy Spirit – giving them (and today – us) direct access to hear from God. This was something only a prophet would experience in the past. This was unique for those first called by Jesus – and now, in these last days, Holy Spirit calls us TO Jesus.
WARNING: ‘NORMALCY BIAS’ CHALLENGE AHEAD —–
Since 2015-2016 (writing this in May 2019) those of us who are ‘watching therefore’ have noted the fact that our scriptures are being ‘supernaturally changed’. (yes, really)
A process called and/or alluded to “the Mandela Effect” (ME) – but preferably called “the Quantum Effect” (QE) – because, regrettably, the Mandela Effect name was first coined by a supposed witch: (so the Mandela detractors say) – Paranormal researcher Fiona Broome coined the name in 2009 after becoming convinced that then-South African President Nelson Mandela had died in prison in the 1980s.
The Quantum effect, supernatural changes to our scriptures been noticeably occurring since (circa) 2015-2016 and is changing the scriptures to absurdities like:
“He has the strength, as it were, of an unicorn…” (Numbers 23:22 KJV)
“Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.” (Psalm 22:21)
– to complete gibberish, or scriptures repeating or using “non-words” and words that are normally plural, being changed to singular format (and vice-versa)
“3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.” (Acts 8:3 KJV) (*haling?)
The latest “supernatural scriptural zaniness” is the addition of the word “corn” through-out all of the KJV Bible. (July 2023 is when I am writing this statement) We have found that the scripture changes continue to permeate and become more seemingly ‘brazen’. They always begin in the KJV – and after some time propagate to other Bible versions:
“At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.” Matthew 12:1 KJV

There are statements that allude to transgenderism – that have Jesus christ of Nazareth wearing a girdle and having “paps” (breasts to feed babies) This scripture can be found in Revelation 1:13 KJV. – and drinking milk from the “breast of Kings”
It should be noted that the majority of these ‘changes’ have been affected upon the KING JAMES version of the English Bible.
More on this can be found through-out this website and here: Short-List of Things You Should Know
The kickoff for all this “QUANTUM EFFECT” craziness started with a well-known scripture, that was at first only affected in the KJV Bibles, but soon propagated to all versions and translations. And those of us who were aware of these things – WATCHED IT HAPPEN over time, as it propagated to all scripture:
Isaiah 11:6 “The lion shall lie with the lamb…” – being changed to “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb…” – Still, there are many who argue that the scriptures ALWAYS said “wolf” not “lion”. Never mind that you will not find a single “Wolf and Lamb” ministries or business or ANYTHING with a wolf/lamb moniker – but you’ll find many “Lion and Lamb” – like this popular Christian performance venue that is located in several states: Sight & Sound https://www.sight-sound.com/
Isaiah 11:6 was just the beginning of a litany of scriptural and real-world physical changes, starting in early 2016 from the perspective of most people’s experience. The “crazy thing” about the changes is that they are seemingly “retro-active” — the changes have propagated all the way back to the beginning of the earliest writings!
I have a wonderful explanation of this ‘effect’ on my Youtube channel. A presentation given by a man named John Kirwin. It is very well-presented and I highly recommend that one takes the time to listen to what he says: “Amos 8 effected – Mandela Effected Bible Scriptures – DISCLAIMER – I do not agree with every change that John claims, but his presentation, none-the-less, is impeccable.
This is what (YHVH) God has said, through His prophet Isaiah in chapter 11 verse 6 – but you will find it no-where in the scriptures, regardless of version or age of your Bible:
“The Lion shall lie down with the Lamb and the bear shall eat grass like the ox; the child shall play on the hole of an asp and
nothing shall hurt nor destroy in all My Holy Mountain.”
We must understand that the BIBLE is scripture. JESUS – HE is THE WORD OF GOD! This is important to demarcate. The very idea has become something that sounds “blasphemous” to most hearers because we have all been taught error for generations. The Bible does not save us. Knowing all of our scriptures by heart does not save us and give us eternal life.
ONLY KNOWING HIM! gives us eternal life.
Jesus said, “You search the scriptures because you believe that in them there is life – but they spoke/wrote about Me!” (paraphrasing John 5:39)
This is not to negate the importance of reading and understanding our scriptures: God’s written revelation of Himself to a people who desire to know Him. – But as one Pastor who came into realization that our scriptures are being lost, taken away as it were by the quantum effect – asked: “If we no longer have the Bible to turn to for truth, where shall we turn?” – My answer: “Depend on Holy Spirit just as as the early church did.” (Reference the Acts 1 mention earlier in this writing) This is actually what God intends that we all do in the first place.
Depend upon HIM!
I am not saying that we should all stop reading our Bibles! – so please do not interpret my writing here as saying that. But there will soon come a day that the scriptures will be so corrupt that they will no longer speak of Jesus, but of the antichrist – as being God. Here is an example of the scriptures applying attributes to Jesus christ – that make Him at best, only a “cross-dresser” – but BLASPHEMOUSLY applies transgender attributes to our wonderful Savior. “Revelation 1: Jesus Wears Girdles and has Paps” –
Again I say – KEEP READING YOUR BIBLE while we still have the scriptures. Get what God has said, deep-down into your heart!
We must also understand that we should include other writings that are not contained within the pages of the Bible. The Book of Enoch, The Book of Jasher, Jubilees – and more. Many are referenced in the Bible – so they are “qualified” as scripture, in my opinion. If we do not include these other writings – we will not understand what we are about to go through in these end-times.
All scripture is purposed “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” – But the Bible does not contain “the entirety of scripture”. Refusing to accept this truth in these end of days will leave dangerous, gaping holes in our understanding. We cannot use the old adage: “It was good enough for our Great-Grandparents to be saved…”
Our Great-Grandparents weren’t living in the last-days leading up to Jesus’ return. For we most certainly are!

The word “corn” began showing up all over scripture (KJV mainly) – usually replacing the word grain or wheat. If you have a Bible app on your cellphone, set it to KJV and search for the word “corn” – you’ll be impressed. A related change is the word UNICORN – it was at first only found in one verse: “God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn” (Numbers 23:22 KJV)
