“I was born a poor black child…” – the comedian, Steve Martin in the opening line to the movie THE JERK
I have always thought that Steve’s first line in the movie, THE JERK, was one of the funniest movie lines ever! If you know who Steve Martin is – and what he looks like – the statement is utterly absurd. This also provides insight into my own whackadoo sense-o-humor –
If you understand this – you can then understand how it is that much of what I write and talk about – although many times dark and foreboding – yet I can somehow still maintain a light-heartedness about all of the crazy/zany times we are entering into. To me – the very thought that people would think to “shake their fist at God” is LAUGHABLE. – It is absurd.
It reminds me of a scripture: Psalm 2 – Why do the nations rage[a] and the people plot a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying, 3 “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” 4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. 5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, 6 “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
As you can see – even God Himself “chuckles” at the idea that people would plot against Him and His anointed – it is such a vain thing.
“I thought this was supposed to be about the author?” you might be thinking – This is about me, the author. I thought that better than listing a bunch of details about my education, accomplishments and such, that I would instead demonstrate HOW I THINK. I see connections.
Connections from everything – to everything. A friend once told me; “Dave, you LIVE in the Spirit realm….” – He wasn’t saying this to flatter me. He was giving me insight as to why and how I see in certain ways, while others do not see without MUCH effort – or they don’t see what I see – at all.
Because so much (in my mind) is a “given” – I have on occasion made the mistake of assuming that “everyone sees this – right?” Add to that – my sense of humor that drives me to maintain a lightheartedness (relatively speaking) about such things. The assumptions and seemingly cavalier attitude can sometimes cause the listener/reader/viewer – some frustration. I ask you – the reader – for forgiveness ahead of time, if I cause you any confusion because of my failure to properly provide context and/or clarity.
Although I am an educated man, I place very little value on “formal” education in the realm of our EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS. Whether you are in elementary schools in public education or Harvard University getting your PhD – the accreditation of our educational institutions are all “approved” by the same BEAST SYSTEM. This includes Christian based educational institutions. With all due respect – our brothers and sisters in Christ who endeavor to instill God’s truth in our children through Christ Centered learning – are still subject to the beast-system accreditation system. This means that the students who attend a christian school, although they may read from the Bible in the classroom, attend chapel services as a part of school curricula and glorify God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit – they still unknowingly teach luciferian based error that is knowledge that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
“HOW CAN THIS BE?” – you might be thinking –
For a school to be accredited (which is important if you want your high-school diploma or College degree to be on par with any other school) – the students are measured by the same standards that the rest of the world’s schools are measured by. This means that a student attending a christian school must still be tested to know scientific methodologies, history and cosmology that are adhered to by the world’s education systems. It’s not the fault of the christian educators. They are not of the world – but they are IN IT.
The mind of a well educated Christian, after having been educated in our great halls of higher learning institutions – remains steeped in OCCULT: Scientism, evolution and false history work together to keep our minds from being renewed.
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:4-6
Some of this material may force you to re-evaluate your own perceptions and beliefs. Try to keep an open, curious mind. I continuously revisit things that I have learned over the years – to see if things previously believed still hold true.
